Support For Behavioral and Emotional Development

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference that can affect social communication, sensory processing, flexibility, and how a person experiences and responds to the world around them. Common challenges may include social misunderstandings, sensory sensitivities, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty navigating change and expectations. Treatment is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based, focusing on practical skill development, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and supporting authentic communication while honoring each individual’s unique profile.

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

ADHD commonly involves difficulties with attention, organization, impulse control, emotional regulation, and follow-through on tasks. Children and teens may appear distracted, forgetful, restless, or easily overwhelmed by demands at home or school. Treatment focuses on practical, skills-based strategies that improve executive functioning, build self-awareness, and strengthen routines, helping individuals manage daily responsibilities with greater confidence and success.

Anxiety

Anxiety can show up as excessive worry, avoidance, perfectionism, physical symptoms, irritability, or difficulty separating from caregivers or managing uncertainty. Children and teens may struggle with school stress, social situations, or fears that interfere with everyday functioning. Treatment uses evidence-based approaches to help clients understand anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and develop coping skills that increase confidence, flexibility, and emotional resilience.

Executive Functioning Difficulties

Targeted strategies to strengthen planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and follow-through, supporting greater independence and success in everyday responsibilities.

Parent Training

Collaborative parent guidance focused on practical tools to support behavior, emotional regulation, and healthy family dynamics while strengthening connection and confidence in parenting.
